Ydna Surf, Skate, Sounds started out in 2004! Quickly creating a community amongst the beachside communities of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Highcliffe. From surf shop vibes came a punk rock show in 2005, a rock show in 2006 and a sold out 550 Cap show in 2007 with the Beautiful Girls from Australia. This was the gateway gig to all things independent Australia. Xavier Rudd, Rogerthat, Ash Grunwald, Beau Young, Sticky Fingers, Rob Sawyer, Carus Thomson, which then moved in to the emerging UK scene, Ben Howard, Wille and the Bandits, Neil Halstead, Matthew P. Having spent the last few years as Deputy General Manager at the O2 Academy Bournemouth; this gifted a level of training, experience, and nearly 300 additional events, but little time for extra promotions apart form the joyous return of REEF to the venue! But now it’s time to move back into the Promotions and continue working with a roster of artists to further their success - announcements coming soon!
